This countertop oven takes up a little more space than a four slice toaster but does much more. Since buying the Kitchen Aid countertop oven, I have used my regular oven much less, cutting down on energy costs. It toasts and warms whole bagels and rolls with ease. The oven is well made and was worth the amount we paid for it, actually much less than in the department stores!

This is a beautifully built, solid product, especially compared to other brands of toaster ovens! It is durable and looks great on my counter. I bought it to avoid the need to heat up my regular oven. It does not need to be preheated, so it is quick and easy to use. My only complaint is that it has only a 30 minute timer, but that really isn’t much of an issue. I am pleased with its performance . It toasts, bakes, broils. It is really a quality product, typical of the KitchenAid name.

One of the better ideas I’ve had was to purchase this item. It toasts english muffins and bagels so they are crispy on the outside yet still soft on the inside…the perfect texture. Also great for baking smaller dishes, cooks evenly, heats thouroughly and east to clean. This was also the lowest price I have seen for this product. I have other Kitchenaid products and they never disappoint in performance.

i had an oster oven toaster and liked the KCO1005  KitchenAid better because it was more solid, the chrome parts didnt look cheap like other brands. i agree that a small chip of paint came off out of the box, but that was because of the protective tape on the edge for shipping, not necessary. i used a perm black marker, just a dot or two, and it looks like it never happened, big deal, in a couple of months it wont look new anyways, thats life (you must not have kids or pets to complain about this). yes, it would be nice if the timer went longer, but if i wanted to cook something for that duration would use the real oven, duh. i like this oven, it doesnt look cheap (ie, about to fall apart) and i feel comfortable using it. even the oster toaster took awhile to get used to, not all microwaves cook the same either, its called trial and error.. practice makes perfect

We bought this toaster after researching tons of different toasters. I absolutely loved the way it looked & of course the features. Some of our favorite features include; the large size, the ability to grill or cook & you can also just warm your food.

Most of the reviews were great. Some of the ones that were negative in my opinion, were mostly complaints about very minor things that all toasters have & it sounded to me like the consumer just needs to make adjustments in heating times & settings.

Anyway, we’ve had this toaster & have used it at least daily for nearly 2 years. We’ve had absolutely no problems w/it & love it!

It fits 6 slices in perfectly or 4 huge slices of bread at a time. It is so easy, simple even, to clean & it looks awesome!

TIP: Put it in your cart & check your cart daily or every few days for the notice that the price has gone down. I do that with many items & get them at huge discounts. I was able to get the matching Kitchenaid mixer, also in Empire Red for about $170!! Seriously!
